About the Role
The Ops Country Manager is responsible for leading iCliGo’s presence, execution, and growth in the assigned markets - Spain.
This role acts as the main business owner, ensuring the market is positioned for sustainable growth, operational readiness, and strong alignment with global functions. The Ops Country Manager will coordinate local execution across Customer Support, Travel Product, Legal, Finance, HR, Marketing, Tech, Operations, and Project Management, ensuring the market operates effectively while reflecting local needs and opportunities.
The role is critical to bridging iCliGo’s global model with the realities of the local market, ensuring both commercial growth and operational discipline.
Key Responsibilities
1. Countries Leadership and Market Growth
Act as the main leader and point of accountability for iCliGo in the assigned countries
Drive local markets growth in line with company strategy and expansion priorities
Identify market opportunities, barriers, risks, and growth levers
Monitor country performance and recommend actions to improve business results, Travel Partner engagement, and customer experience
Support the successful launch, scaling, and long-term consolidation of iCliGo in the market
2. Cross-Functional Market Coordination
Coordinate with global shared service teams based in Portugal to ensure the countries are properly supported
Align local priorities with internal teams across Customer Support, Travel Product, Legal, Finance, HR, Marketing, Tech, Operations, and Project Management
Act as the main escalation point for local markets needs, dependencies, and execution challenges
Ensure the countries receive the right level of support, prioritization, and follow-through from central functions
3. Local Execution and Operational Readiness
Ensure the country is operationally prepared for launches, campaigns, growth initiatives, and process changes
Monitor service quality, operational bottlenecks, and local execution risks
Work closely with Customer Support and Operations to ensure language coverage, time zone support, and market-specific operational readiness
Support implementation of local procedures, working practices, and process improvements in alignment with global standards
4. Market Insight and Strategic Feedback
Act as the internal voice of the countries
Ensure local markets feedback is translated into actionable recommendations for Product, Support, Marketing, Travel Product, and Leadership teams
Surface local risks early, including commercial, operational, regulatory, and reputational issues
5. Stakeholder, Community, and Market Presence
Partner with Marketing and Community teams to support local activation, engagement, and growth initiatives
Help build iCliGo’s credibility and presence in the local markets
6. Governance, Accountability, and Performance
Track local priorities, dependencies, and execution plans with discipline and clarity
Ensure that market commitments are realistic, aligned internally, and followed through
Support strong visibility of work and priorities through internal tools and reporting
Drive a local culture of ownership, accountability, problem-solving, and performance

Proven experience in roles such as Country Manager, Market Manager, Operations Manager, Business Manager, or similar

Strong commercial mindset and understanding of local market dynamics
Ability to influence multiple stakeholders without relying solely on direct hierarchy
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
Excellent organizational and execution discipline
High sense of ownership, urgency, and accountability
Strong communication skills in both local market language and English
Experience in travel, marketplaces, tech-enabled services, direct sales, or community-based businesses is a strong plus
