About the Role

As a Finance Operations Specialist you will manage day-to-day finance activities, including AP/AR, reconciliations, payments, and cash flow. You will ensure accurate transaction recording, compliance with internal controls, and support system improvements (ERP, reporting, automation).

Key Responsibilities

Your main responsibilities are executing and monitoring recurring finance operations:

  • Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable

  • Bank and balance sheet reconciliations

  • Payment processing, collections, and operational cash flow management

  • Ensure accurate recording and classification of financial transactions

  • Ensure compliance with internal procedures, controls, and deadlines

  • Identify inefficiencies and propose improvements to finance processes

  • Support the implementation and optimization of financial systems (ERP, reporting, automation tools)

  • Liaise with internal stakeholders, suppliers, customers, and external auditors when required

What We’re Looking For

The ideal profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Management, Economics, or related fields

  • 3–5 years of experience in Finance Operations, Accounting Operations, or similar roles

  • Strong knowledge of: general accounting principles, AP/AR processes and cash management

  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Sage, Primavera, Dynamics)

  • Advanced Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, Power Query)

  • Knowledge of tax and compliance requirements (nice to have)

  • High attention to detail and accuracy, analytical thinking and problem-solving skills

  • Strong ownership mindset and sense of accountability

  • Continuous improvement and efficiency-driven mindset

  • Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines

  • Proactive, autonomous, and hands-on

  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with multiple stakeholders

  • Team-oriented and collaborative

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Portuguese and English
