About the Role

As a Junior People Operations you will be the first point of contact for administrative and operational HR-related matters for employees and partners, ensuring the efficient execution of internal processes and supporting the day-to-day functioning of the Human Resources department. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate people data, ensuring compliance with internal policies and labor regulations and support payroll activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the People Operations team in maintaining and updating operational guidelines and internal procedures, proactively identifying opportunities for process improvement;

  • Organize, maintain, and ensure the accuracy of employee records and personnel documentation;

  • Update and manage internal HR databases (e.g. vacation balances, absences, leaves of absence);

  • Prepare HR documentation, including employment contracts, amendments, and other materials related to new hires and employee lifecycle events;

  • Support communication and coordination with external partners, such as insurance providers and other HR vendors;

  • Assist with payroll processing by ensuring HR systems are updated with all relevant employee information (e.g. sick leave, parental leave, unpaid leave);

  • Support with ticket management on our service desk;

  • Provide administrative support across recruitment and onboarding processes, ensuring a smooth experience for new hires.

What we’re looking for

  • Degree in Human Resources, Management, Business Administration, or a related field;

  • At least 1 year of professional experience in People Operations, Human Resources Administration, or similar roles;

  • Good user-level knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint);

  • Experience with Human Resources management software, Primavera, is a plus.

  • Knowledge of labour legislation and HR administrative practices;

  • Strong attention to detail, sense of responsibility, and confidentiality;

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities;

  • Proactive mindset with the ability to suggest improvements and support continuous process optimization;

  • Ability to adapt to dynamic, fast-paced, and multitasking environments;

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Portuguese and English.
