People Partner

About The Role

As a People Partner, you’ll be the strategic backbone supporting our leaders and teams across multiple markets. You’ll act as a trusted advisor to management, providing guidance on people strategy, organizational design, performance, and engagement. You’ll also drive cross-functional People initiatives that strengthen iCliGo’s culture and help us grow sustainably.

This is a hands-on, high-impact role for someone who thrives on both strategic influence and operational excellence, balancing business needs with our strong people-first philosophy.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Partnership

  • Partner with business leaders to design and execute people strategies that align with company objectives.

  • Act as a trusted advisor on leadership, team development, and organizational effectiveness.

  • Support workforce planning and organizational design initiatives to enable scalability and growth.

Performance & Development

  • Guide and coach managers on feedback, performance conversations, and talent development.

  • Co-lead the internal talent assessment and promotion framework (iCliGo Career Dialogues).

  • Collaborate on development plans and growth paths tailored to each function.

Employee Relations & Engagement

  • Handle complex people matters with empathy, discretion, and legal compliance.

  • Proactively identify engagement challenges and co-create solutions with teams.

  • Drive initiatives that foster inclusion, recognition, and strong internal communication.

Policy & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with Portuguese and Spanish labor laws, internal policies, and ethical standards.

  • Support policy updates, process documentation, and audits in collaboration with People Operations.

Culture & Change

  • Partner with leadership to embed iCliGo’s values into daily work and decision-making.

  • Support organizational change initiatives with effective communication and team alignment.

What You’ll Bring

  • 3+ years of experience in an HR Business Partner / People Partner role, ideally in fast-growing, multicultural environments.

  • Deep understanding of Portuguese labor law (Spanish law knowledge is a strong plus).

  • Proven track record in coaching managers, handling employee relations, and leading change management.

  • Strong analytical mindset — capable of interpreting people data and translating insights into action.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills — with empathy, resilience, and a bias for collaboration.

  • Fluent in Portuguese and English (Spanish is an advantage).
